The Shawna Foundation is a 501(c)(3) Arts Non-Profit named after Shawna Shea

who passed away at the age of 16. We continue this work in her memory.  

Our Mision

We believe the arts and education are essential to creating a vibrant, healthy community and world. 

 

The mission of the Shawna Foundation is to equitably promote and support students through scholarship and showcase artists in filmmaking, performance arts, poetry and other creative endeavors with a focus on underrepresented communities.

April 24th

Underground Wednesday is supported by a grant from the Southbridge Cultural Council, a local agency funded by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.  

April 17th & 25th

The Library Poetry Tour is supported by a grant from the Milford Cultural Council and the Mass Cultural Council.  

April 25-28

The Mass Indie Film Fest returns  showcasing a wide variety of films from all genres. Everything from dramas, art house fare, to horror and thrillers that some festivals unfairly ignore are welcome here.
